Shalane goes above and beyond what we ever imagined for a breeder. As first-time iggy parents, we had so much to learn about this unique breed and we couldn’t be in better hands. Not only is Shalane a well-experienced and ethical breeder, she brings such healthy, beautiful pups into the world and from the beginning, helped foster a sense of community for us with other iggy families. After a year with iggy number one, we’re taking the plunge for iggy number two!

I recently brought home one of Shalane and Michele’s iggy puppies and he’s become the love of my life. Adjusting very well and scared of very little – I got a healthy little pup that’s well socialized at an early age. I feel so lucky to have found them – they care so much about their pups and have supported me continuously from day 1. Being a first time pawrent is difficult but I never felt alone. I cannot recommend Honovi Italian Greyhounds enough. I got both of my Italian Greyhounds (Luna & Cosmos) from there, from different litters. They are now 2 and 3 years old. Shalane was extremely responsive throughout the entire process and provided lots of updates throughout the litter process, after their birth, and in the weeks leading up to gotcha day.
A fun bonus: I received lots of photo updates and found myself falling in love with them before I even had them. Shalane is an extremely responsible and ethical breeder who prioritizes the dogs’ well-being and health above all else. I highly recommend her. Even to this day, she is available to chat if I have any questions. I couldn’t have asked for a better breeder and I know that all her puppies only go to the best families for them.
